All restaurants provide food with Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) and/or other excitotoxins. I know of NO exception to this rule. The people working for these resturants may not know, or even care, what foods contain these harmful ingredients, but that doesn't change the fact, excitotoxins are doled out here and there - in this meal, in that drink, in this sauce, in that dessert - which can amount to substantial symptom-causing levels of glutamic acid.

The reason why I have compiled this list of restaurants (with companies and subsidiaries too), is because these restaurants have to be held accountable. They have to be publicly held responsible for the use of excitotoxins whether they add it themselves or they use already prepared foods laced with excitotoxins.

I have to say, I don't hold personally responsible the working class who are trying to "just make a living" as a waitress, a cook, or a dishwasher, but I do expect at least a modicum of caring. If people in the service industry start caring about my meal as much as I do, then maybe mankind will be a step closer to excitotoxins being a thing of the past. A person can dream, can't she?

I'm not saying there is nothing safe to eat in restaurants, but I am saying people suffering from Excitotoxin Sensitivity Syndrome (ESS) have to take control of their own health and be knowledgeable of what is offered in restaurants in order to eat a meal without an reactions. Yes, it IS possible, and I hope this list of restaurants and the meal suggestions are of help to you and others.
